Appointment Options
Virtual Advising Drop-In Hours – Spring 2025
- Tuesdays – 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m. (starting January 21 and ending May 13)
- Wednesdays – 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. (starting January 22 and ending May 14)
Extra Drop-In Hours for Fall 2025 Pre-enroll and the Final Course Drop Deadline (deadline is May 6th):
- Friday, April 25 – 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m.
- Monday, April 28 – 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
- Thursday, May 1 – 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m.
- Friday, May 2 – 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m.
- Monday, May 5 – 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 6 – 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Engineering Advising Team will offer weekly advising Drop-in Hours via Zoom. Drop-in Hours are short, one-on-one conversations with a professional staff academic advisor and are intended for students with quick questions.
The Zoom room will have a waiting room and you will stay in the waiting room until it is your turn to meet with an advisor. Drop-In Hours are first-come, first-served and you may have to wait if there are students in line ahead of you.
Advising Appointments – Spring 2025
Schedule: Please Note: The Engineering Advising team works remotely on Mondays and therefore the physical office suite is closed those days. Advising appointments made for Mondays will be virtual.
Make a 30-minute (in-person or virtual) appointment with your Engineering Advising professional staff academic advisor online through Chatter. We do not make same-day appointments.
Calendars tend to fill up quickly so plan in advance and come prepared with questions to your appointment.
Three-week availability range: The calendars will only show availability for the next three weeks. If you don’t see availability, please check back the next week. If your matter is urgent, please email adv_engineering@cornell.edu or call us at 607-255-7414.
Chatter Instructions
When scheduling an appointment through Chatter, be sure to find the Engineering Advising tab listed at the top or in the “More” tab drop-down. Note that other offices also use Chatter and have their own appointment booking pages.

Study Abroad Inquiries
Make a 30-minute (in-person or virtual) appointment with our study abroad advisor online through Chatter by then selecting the Study Abroad service.
