The Biomedical Engineering minor is open to all Cornell undergraduates. The minor allows students to gain exposure to the breadth and depth of biomedical engineering offerings at Cornell, to prepare for advanced studies in biomedical engineering, and to obtain recognition for their interest and capability in this rapidly growing area.

The Biomedical Engineering minor develops your quantitative engineering analysis skills and complements your major discipline training for careers in industry, academia, and more. The major has a five-course core sequence that covers biomedical mechanics, imaging and instrumentation, biomaterials, and tissue engineering.
