Eligibility and Academic Standards

Open to all undergraduates except Earth and Atmospheric Science majors.

Students must earn a grade of C- or better in each course in the minor and a GPA ≥2.0 in all courses in the minor.

Course Requirements

At least 18 credits, chosen as follows:

  • Category 1: Required introductory course
    • EAS 2250: The Earth System
  • Category 2: At least three courses selected from the options below
  • Category 3: Additional EAS courses at the 3000 level or higher
    • These may include, but are not limited to, additional courses from the above list, undergraduate research courses, and outdoor field courses.
