Cross-Campus Collaboration

Offered only in the Spring semester, the Immersion Program is an intense, hands-on semester of integrated course and field in a specific industry or career interest.

Interested students from Engineering Management must apply their first semester and receive approval from their advisor. The industry sponsored capstone project and practicum completed in the Immersion takes the place of ENMGT 5910 and ENMGT 6091.

The Praxis Center for Venture Development helps Cornell engineering, digital and physical science startup companies grow from interesting ideas to self sufficient enterprises. The Center focuses on accelerating the development of client companies’ technologies or products, validating client companies’ value propositions and strengthening client companies’ management teams.

Entrepreneurship at Cornell is a diverse, university-wide program that finds and fosters the entrepreneurial spirit in participants from every college, every field, and in every stage of life. We are grounded in the belief that individuals who exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit and have acquired entrepreneurial knowledge can add significant value to any working environment from the smallest startup to the largest business, from non-profits to government agencies.
