Cornell EMPower Mentors
Cornell EMPower mentoring supports the personal and academic development and achievement of first-year undergraduates, as well as new transfer students, by matching them with an upper-class student or a graduate student peer mentor. Cornell EMPower mentors and mentees commit just a small amount of time but develop mentoring partnerships that help them thrive during their time at Cornell and beyond. The commitment is to attend a group event once per month and spend an additional 1-3 hours per month for one-on-one interaction with their mentee(s) either in person, over the phone, or by email and text messages. Students complete this application to share their interest in becoming a mentee or mentor, Cornell EMPower Mentee & Mentor Application.
