From the beginning of your student’s Cornell career they will find an invigorating and challenging world here on campus. The first year of college is the beginning of a new journey. There are greater responsibilities, increased opportunities, and more difficult challenges to face. Your relationship will evolve in new and sometimes surprising ways. Your student will become more independent, but still needs your guidance and support.
