Cornell EMPower connects new students with student mentors who are further along in their academic careers, fostering strong relationships that promote student satisfaction and retention while building a supportive engineering community.

  • Through regular one-on-one interactions and monthly group events, including networking dinners and team-building activities, mentees gain valuable insights and guidance to develop their academic skills, enhance self-esteem, and access university resources. Peer mentors experience personal growth and a sense of belonging.
