Student Employees

Our team of student employees provide support for operations in the Experiential Learning Lab and help with a wide variety of tasks to keep the program running smoothly.

  • Charles Wang, Teaching Assistant

    Charles is a current Masters of Engineering student studying CS. He has plenty of teaching experience in CS, having served as a TA for the Python programming and C++ programming courses at Cornell. In the past, Charles has also worked as a software engineer intern for Amazon, Juniper Networks, and CommScope, where he gained valuable experience in full-stack development and cloud computing. As a Project Teams TA, Charles will provide Canvas course support for the following Project Teams courses: ENGRG 1400, 3400, and 4400. He is also available to consult with team leads regarding team-specific sections of 3400.

  • Natalie Dowd

    Natalie Dowd

    Natalie is a senior studying mechanical engineering from Westchester, NY. She is a team lead for Cornell Baja Racing, and before becoming a lead she worked on the transmission for two years.

  • William Baumoel

    William is a junior from Beverly, MA studying mechanical engineering. He is the monocoque subteam lead on Cornell’s FSAE Racing project team. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, watching hockey games, and going on walks.

  • Lexi Stoff

    Lexi Stoff

    Lexi is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering. She is from New York and is a member of the Cornell FSAE Racing team. Lexi is interested in automotive and aerospace engineering. In her free time, she enjoys watching football and baseball, hiking, and fashion.

  • Krista Roessle

    Krista Roessle

    Krista is a senior mechanical engineering major from Temperance, MI. She’s the mold subteam lead of the Cornell Concrete Canoe Team. She loves to ride her motorcycle, knit, and work out.

  • Mackemey Munion

    Mackemey Munion

    Mack is a junior mechanical engineer from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. She’s currently the drivetrain lead on Cornell Electric Vehicles Project Team. She loves dogs, coffee, and Cornell hockey

  • Italivi Diaz

    Italivi Diaz is an M.Eng student studying mechanical engineering. She is from California and a member of Cornell Rocketry. If she has no problem sets or prelims, you can find her watching cave-diving documentaries or learning how to sew.

  • Charlotte Pendock

    Charlotte Pendock

    Charlotte is a mechanical engineering major from Carlisle, MA. She is the ergonomics/composites sub-team lead for the Baja Racing Team. In her spare time, she loves hiking, backpacking, and doing anything outdoors.

  • Silas Wilson

    Silas Wilson

    Silas is a senior mechanical engineering major from Los Angeles, CA. He loves mountain biking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Silas works on suspension on the Cornell Baja Racing Team and enjoys rock climbing and building remote control cars in his free time.

  • Eve Lesburg

    Eve Lesburg

    Eve is a senior materials science major from Newton, MA. She works in the Singer Lab in MSE researching batteries, and spends basically all of her free time playing ultimate frisbee or swimming in Ithaca’s various bodies of water.

  • Jacob Gonzalez

    Jacob Gonzalez

    Jacob is a junior mechanical engineering major from Dallas, TX. He is the low voltage lead for the Cornell FSAE Racing Team. In his free time, you can find Jacob practicing piano or going on roadtrips.

  • Meggie Chen

    Meggie Chen

    Meggie is a freshman from Cupertino, CA majoring in Mechanical Engineering, and a member of the Structures and Payloads subteam on Cornell University Unmanned Air Systems (CUAir). In her free time, she can be found trying new coffee shops and restaurants around Ithaca or curled up on the couch in her quest to finish watching an ever-growing, never-ending list of movies and TV shows.
