Ezra Postdoctoral Associates spend one to three years at Cornell during which they conduct advanced systems research under the guidance of systems faculty, and author or co-author one or more substantial research papers addressing the agreed-upon topic. Postdocs should expect to spend about three quarters of their time on collaborative systems research, and are also expected to attend seminars and workshops.
During their experience, Ezra Postdoctoral Associates gain new skills and receive mentoring that will enable them to become the next generation of leaders in systems research. They will also gain team-work experience and technical training across disciplines by participating in grant proposal

Requirements and Qualifications
The Ezra Systems Scholars Initiative is looking for postdoctoral researchers in the general field of systems engineering with application in important complex systems areas. Ezra Postdoctoral Associates must have received a Ph.D. or equivalent degree within the last five years and will typically be perceived by their peers as rising stars in their field. Expertise in several of the methodologies and application areas below is required.
