The Sociotechnical Systems Certificate provided by the Systems Engineering offers strong theoretical and methodological foundations in the study and design of sociotechnical systems. Students acquire rigorous analytical, modeling, and simulation skills for engaging with social aspects of systems that crucially impact system performance but are often left outside system boundaries.
