The Office of Inclusive Excellence offers a variety of programs and services to engage and develop both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as faculty, staff, and future Cornellians. We also provide opportunities for members of the Cornell Engineering community to receive recognition for their academic, mentoring, leadership, research, and professional endeavors.

Annual Awards Banquet

Each spring, DPE’s Annual Awards Banquet honors the successes of our engineering community. It recognizes students, staff, and faculty who are making a difference within Cornell Engineering. Generous corporate and foundation sponsors provide funding for scholarships and awards, which students may apply for during the spring semester and receive during the banquet.

Conferences & Symposia

By attending various conferences and symposia hosted by DPE, you are presented with opportunities to connect with a community of scholars, share your research, learn about industry trends, and connect with proven leaders, strategist, professionals, and peers.

Office of Inclusive Excellence Welcome & Open House

Each fall semester, the Office of Inclusive Excellence, along with affiliated student organizations, welcomes incoming undergraduate and graduate students, along with staff and faculty and returning members of the Cornell Engineering community, to become familiar with our programs through a community fair. At our Welcome, you learn about resources, professional development, leadership opportunities, project teams, and how to get involved!
