Family Orientation

Welcome to Cornell Engineering Family Orientation! The Fall 2024 family orientation schedule is below.

Monday, August 19, 2024

Family Briefing (for parents and families - we kindly ask that students attend the Student Welcome Activities and Resource Fair during this time)

Time: 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - each session is the same. Families only need to attend one.

Location: 101 Phillips Hall

Join the Dean of Engineering, the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs, the Associate Dean of Student Services, and College of Engineering panelists to learn about the college's undergraduate programs and student support resources.

Student Welcome Activities and Resource Fair (for students, parents, and families)

Time: 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Location: Duffield Atrium

Incoming Engineering students are invited to visit resource tables from various Engineering Student Services and Undergraduate Program offices, such as Advising, Career Center, Learning Initiatives, Diversity Programs, Leadership, and Project Teams.  Meet faculty, staff, and fellow students from the College and engage in fun community building activities with other incoming engineers.  Families welcome after the the Family Briefing.
