Writing-Intensive Courses

Disciplinary courses in engineering are designated writing-intensive (W-I) if they include substantial communications instruction offered as part of their requirements. The courses so designated are listed below:

  • BEE 4590: Biosensors and Bioanalytical Techniques
  • BEE 4730: Watershed Engineering
  • CHEME 4320: Chemical Engineering Laboratory
  • INFO 1200 / STS 1201: Information Ethics, Law, and Policy
  • MS&E 4030 & 4040 (both): Materials Lab
  • MS&E 4050 & 4060 (both): Senior Exp Thesis
  • M&AE 4272: Fluids/Heat Transfer Lab
